Busy...

 Dear Ladies,

I'm sorry it has taken so long for a new post! We have been very busy. I will give you a brief overview of last week, and this week!

Last week, we were busy with school, and helping the younger children with school projects. On Wednesday, Mom and Dani drove my grandma up to a doctor's appointment, Dad, Emily and Leah stayed home, and Greg and I drove up to town with the twins, and they got to record a chorus on one of our songs on our CD! They really enjoyed that, and sang well! That evening, we went to a small church in Rosalia, where we were meeting some homeschooling families that live in the area. Sadly, there were only 4 other families that came! But it was fun, and we enjoyed getting to know new families!

Thursday night was poem recitation night! :) That was... fun! :) We all got more nervous when we heard that Mom was going to record it! :) But, it went well.

Friday, we finished our CD! Ah... it really is relieving to know that that is finished! Then, we went to the Valley Home Scholar's Homeschool Conference in Spokane, and played background music for that for about an hour and a half.

Saturday, I made bread, and Greg took pictures for our CD cover. Sunday, we ALL went to church, for the first time since we've been home! It was wonderful to all be back to church together! We were invited to lunch at the S. family's house, so we met up there around 3:00. Their family recently moved to a house that is just 10 minutes away from us, so it has been a blessing to be able to visit with them more! We had a wonderful afternoon-- we had lunch, then went to the park, and everyone enjoyed sliding, swinging, etc. Even the adults! :) We spent the evening there as well, watching "The Truth Project" by Focus on the Family. It was a fun day!

Yesterday, Mom took Grandma to a doctor's appointment. Please keep her in your prayers! She is really not doing very well, and is losing a lot of weight quickly. It has been a difficult time. Today, Mom took Greg to take a test in Moscow, and Emily and Leah went along as well, so Dani and I are watching Hannah, Samuel and Rebekah!

Well, I hope that didn't bore you all! :) I just feel badly that we have not updated you in so long. We will try to keep up better! And we will try to add more pictures soon!

May the Lord be with each of you!

Please Pray for Dani

Hello ladies,

I just wanted to post and ask you all to pray for Dani. She woke up with stomach pains this morning, then she felt somewhat better for awhile, but just a few minutes ago she was in so much pain. Dad took her up to the hospital to make sure she doesn't have appendicitis. Please pray for her! Thank you so much.

Slight Update!

Well, I thought it was time to do an update... we haven't posted for a long time! :) It's high time! I thought I would add some pictures, and the poem I'm memorizing in school right now...Blessings on the hand of women
Angels guard its strength and grace.
In the palace, cottage, hovel,
Oh, no matter where the place;
Would that never storms assailed it,
Rainbows ever gently curled,
For the hand that rocks the cradle
Is the hand that rules the world.
Infancy's the tender fountain,
Power may with beauty flow.
Mothers first to guide the streamlets
From them unresting souls grow.
Grow on for the good or evil
Sunshine streamed, or evil hurled.
For the hand that rocks the cradle
Is the hand that rules the world.

Women, how divine your mission
Here upon our natal sod
Keep- oh keep, the young heart open
Always to the breath of God.
All true trophies from the ages
Are from mother love impearled.
For the hand that rocks the cradle
Is the hand that rules the world.

Blessings on the hand of women
Fathers, sons and daughters cry
And the sacred song is mingled
With the worship in the sky.
Mingled where no tempest darkens,
Rainbows evermore are hurled.
For the hand that rocks the cradle
Is the hand that rules the world.
