Dear Ladies,
Just on Sunday, one of our goats kidded! She had twins.
But this morning, we got an even better surprise!! Our other goat, the one that had triplets last year, had triplets again this morning!! How exciting.
What a way to start the day..... I didn't watch it. Only Sam, Rebekah, Dani, Amanda, Emily and Mom watched the birth. Leah saw parts of it too. I guess I'd better get used to watching birth. I just can't see it!! I guess it's all part of farm life. Birth can be messy, but it brings something wonderful....into the world.
Hopefully one of the other girls will post some pictures later.
So far we have 3 girls and 2 boys. The one that had triplets last year had 2 boys and a girl. But this year, she had 2 girls and a boy!! How funny!
How wonderful birth is!!!

Christian Heritage Conference 2011
What a blessed time we had in the Seattle area, attending this year's Christian Heritage Conference. The speakers were amazing, the fellowship was sweet, but the very best part was FINALLY meeting our dear friends, the M. Ladies! This was the first time we had ever met, being pen pals for a couple years and having a wonderful friendship. The visit was MUCH too short, and with all the workshops and Chorale practices, visiting was hard to squeeze in, but we did our very best and had a wonderful time. :)
We wanted to share some pictures with you and explain as we go along.
Some of the keynote speakers were the Botkin Family. The girls had several encouraging and challenging sessions that we attended. We even got to have Elizabeth sign our book "So Much More".
Greg played "Behold the Lamb" for the prelude. He did an excellent job! ♥
A neat family who recited "That's My King".
This picture of our dad, brother and sister was taken at the conference the night before and shown on the big screen! :)
Another session the Botkin Family did was about sibling relationships. It was very insightful. (Sorry for the bad quality picture)
Us with the M. Ladies, and our 3rd cousin. What special memories!
A third of the chorale - the sopranos.
The altos... singing in the chorale was SO much fun! We had an amazing director, a.k.a. our piano teacher, Mr. C!
This was taken in the wind and sunlight, so excuse our squinty faces! :)
Precious friends! ♥ We love you girls!!!
