Preparing for Arizona

Preparing for our trip to Arizona has not been easy, but we are so looking forward to the work God is going to do! I have found such joy and blessings in working together as a family and praising God through song.

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise. ~Psalm 98:4

Mr. Krell is such a dear family friend! Sam loves to ask him all sorts of questions about how things work and what he thinks about this or that. Pals!

This afternoon, we got pictures around the room during a break from our practice.

The younger ones got to enjoy a little snow this year. The pile Greg shoveled off our walk way was pretty high - just perfect for a mini sledding hill! :) Amanda and Emily trudging through the snow to go milk the goats! On Sunday, we were asked to share our music with our church body. We were so blessed and encouraged by our dear brothers and sisters in Christ who are sending us out with many prayers!

Leah, waiting as we worked to set up the sound equipment before church started. Hannah posed for me too
Later Sunday afternoon, we were planning to run through our whole concert and record it so we could observe how we could improve - a dear friend warmed up the building for us and we had some more friends join us to cheer us on and encourage us as we rehearsed for Arizona. :) That was a special evening!
Leah has her own solo she is singing this year. We are excited about that.

Dear Mother
We are so looking forward to this trip. God has brought us all along and helped us through so many rough spots~ We give Him all the glory.
Our dear friends who have so blessed our lives and that night stayed with us all 2 plus hours as we set up, practiced, took down and cleaned up. We are so thankful for this wonderful couple in our lives. What a blessing!

I ran across this verse this evening and I wanted to end with it.

Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you. ~Hosea 10:12

Blessings to you all,
~Dani

  4. Thank you for the pictures, Dani! I am praying that y'all have a safe trip to Arizona and back, and that you can be a blessing to everyone you meet! {Matthew 5:16}

    By the way, what song is Leah singing this year? Oh how I would love to hear her! I'm sure it is really sweet. ;)

    Wow, y'all got a lot of snow! We've had a little bit this year, but not too much. Actually a few times lately it has been around the 60's during the afternoon. :\

    Thank you so much for sharing the verses also! Lately I have been reading in Acts, and it is so encouraging to me to hear about all that the apostles did. I definately need to grow closer to the LORD, and trust in Him! If persecution does come our way, then we need to be strong, so that we can live up to it for the LORD! {Matthew 5:10}

    I look forward to hearing from you again soon! Love you bunches!
    Blessings,

  5. Have fun in AZ, my dear friends! :) What day are you leaving?? We REALLY should try to talk before you go! :./ But--good news: I shall have your letters sent, LORD willing, before we see you in April. ;) What an awful pen-pal I have been these past months! :( We miss and love you! Oh, and HAPPY (early) BIRTHDAY, Dani-Dear! <33
