God is Faithful

We have begun our journey to Arizona. God has been so good to us as we have traveled along, and although there have been some ups and downs, He has shown Himself so faithful to meet all our needs! The pictures below will show a sort of story of how our trip has gone thus far.

I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart. ~Psalm 40:8

We got to take a family picture before we all split into our 3 vehicles to begin our journey to Arizona.

It was hard on Rebekah to say goodbye to all the animals. Shredder knew that something was going on, and it was not easy to get this picture!
Mr. Krell arrived at 8:30 so that we could leave around 9ish. The children love him!
Mom, getting ready to leave- looking for the keys.

At the end of our driveway, we were startled to find a Sheriff car - we are not sure why he was there?
We made a lunch stop here - so far, so good!
Sam, Hannah, Dad and I made our trip together in the pickup, hauling the trailer. They look comfortable!
Greg misses no photo opportunities! I'm excited to see what all he will capture on this trip.
Walking Peanut in the cold Utah weather!
We made quite a few fuel stops along the way.

The first night, we were all VERY cold! Everyone huddled around the little space heaters.
At every opportunity, the little ones love to ask and show Mr. Krell things.
On this cold morning, before we left, my wonderful brother was willing to pose with me. How dear family is! I am just constantly reminded of how important these relationships are with my siblings! God has given me such a special family.

So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. ~Psalm 90:12
Ready to load up in the warm car after a brisk walk!

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! ~Psalm 133:1
I have such an amazing father!
Mr. Krell posed for me - ready to get on the road again!
We actually had to make 3 stops alongside the road, 2 for Mr. Krell's motor home that was acting up and one to switch tired drivers.Lunch stop - passing sandwiches through the car! :)

Beautiful scenery we find as we travel around. God's creation is stunning!
The second night of traveling, we were just gassing up, and preparing to leave again.

At this point, we were all praying that God would heal the motor home, allow us to continue traveling as we had several hours to go...

But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more. My mouth shall show forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof. I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: ~Psalm 71:14-16a
... but God had other plans! :) We waited to see what this delay was for.
Waiting and praying

My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever. ~Psalm 73:26
It ended up that we had to call the tow truck to have some work done on the motor home.
We found a little trailer park to rest the next day as we waited to see what the news for the motor home would be! The little ones had fun playing outside.
Leah had fun during this break of driving.

Peanut has been a great traveler- no problems!
These men from Dearden Auto Repair were working hard to get us on the road again.

Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name. ~Psalm 86:11
Reading and waiting
Our very first "concert" turned out to be at the Dearden Auto Repair!! The men were curious about what our family did, and I was praying it was a blessing to them. We played 2 songs for them.
This was our little audience. Perhaps this was the reason we were delayed - to bring some of God's love through song to them. We may never know the reason, but we trust that God sees the bigger picture.

Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered. ~Psalm 40:5
We were having a little more trouble along the road. But thankfully a little gas and prayer helped us along.

We made it to Blake Ranch RV on the 30th. We spent a warmer night there and the children all enjoyed looking around. There were even some gold fish in a little pond there.
A few minutes before heading to Salome, we got a picture.
Goodbye, Blake Ranch! :)
And the LORD safely brought us to Desert Palms where we are currently staying. What a blessing it has been to rest and enjoy being all together.
I guess I caught them by surprise

This was a treat - yesterday, Dad, Amanda, Emily and I got to do a little produce shopping - and we found this little Mexican vegetable/fruit stand!
They had great prices for delicious fresh vegetables! What a blessing that was.
We had a good time together.
Last night was our first 10 minute "pre-concert" which we all dressed up for.
The twins
Sam and Greg were having a good time together. Brothers are so special.

Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. ~Jeremiah 31:3b
