A couple nights ago, we had a snowstorm. Dad was working that day, and didn't want to try to come home in it, so the A. family graciously opened their home for him to stay that night! Thank you! :)

There was a beautiful sunrise this morning
This morning, we have been busy making desserts for tomorrow...
Dani and I making apple pie. Our house is pretty cold, since it was only 9 degrees F outside this morning- that's why the big, warm sweaters! :)

Emily made us a gourmet lunch~ Mushroom Soup...
... and Tasty Cloverleaf Rolls! It was delicious! :)
Our turkey for tomorrow- we tried to quickly defrost it, since we didn't take it out of the freezer soon enough! :)
The message on Sunday was on thankfulness. I was reminded that I need to be thankful for ALL things- not just the things we are automatically thankful for, but also for difficult things. The Lord knows just what we need, and we are commanded to give thanks in all things. The Lord is good!!
I hope you all have a blessed Thanksgiving!

ReplyDeleteWe have snow on the ground right now, too! (It's pretty unusual for Western WA) There is at least three inches and we are greatly enjoying it. So pretty!
